PackLog is a family pet activity log by Specline Tech. Your pack lives on your family’s phones — not in a Specline product database of feeds, pees, poops, or walks.

What stays on your devices

Care logs, pet names, member names, notes, and related pack content are stored in an on-device database (SQLite) on each phone that joins your pack. The app works offline. You can delete local data in Pack settings.

Encrypted sync relay

When online, devices may push and pull encrypted updates through a Specline sync relay so other phones can catch up (for example after a flight). The relay stores ciphertext only. Specline cannot read your pack contents without your pack key. The pack key is established when you invite someone (Messages, AirDrop, etc.) and is kept in the device Keychain / Keystore — it is not sent to Specline in the clear.

Routing metadata on the relay is minimal (for example pack id, device id, timestamps). Enough to sync; not enough to reconstruct your household story without the key.

What we don’t do

We do not sell personal data. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs on pack content. We do not build a dossier of your pet’s bathroom schedule as a hosted product database.

Optional diagnostics

If crash reporting or analytics are ever added, they will not include pack payload contents (event types, notes, names, or photos).

Leaving a pack / deletion

Deleting data on a device removes the local copy. Leaving or deleting a pack also requests wipe of that pack’s encrypted blobs from the relay when the device is online.

Purchases

Pack Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google. We receive entitlement signals, not your full payment card details.
